Bashas' is committed to helping you find the healthiest food choices in our stores. Eating healthy at Bashas’ is easy and affordable with the guidance provided by our Registered Dietitian.
Shoppers looking for healthier food choices can now rely on Arizona's hometown grocer for help. We are the first grocery chain in the state to introduce a comprehensive nutrition education program for customers. Bashas' Eat Smart program consists of:
Colorful nutrition shelf tags:
Look for nutrition guidance in every aisle of the store. Different nutritional
tags will help you to identify foods with different nutritional attributes,
including: heart healthy, low sodium, calcium rich, reduced sugar, immune
booster, and healthier options.
Free Eat Smart nutritional cards: Look for
these bookmark-sized information cards in stores that provide healthy eating
tips, shopping lists, and other useful nutrition education information to help
you make the best choices at Bashas’. These cards are available at the Eat Smart
display in stores and available for viewing online. Sample topics include:
Eating Healthy on a Budget; Following a Gluten-Free Diet, Shopping for a Healthy
Heart …and more.
Eat Smart Newsletters:
Look for the Eat Smart display in stores each month that feature healthy products found in Bashas' Savings Guide.
Each month, there is a different health-theme for products on display.
The Eat Smart newsletter is a bi-monthly publication featuring healthy products & recipes, coupons and fun nutrition activities for children.
