 Bashas' Shop & Give Program Bashas’ is delighted to share the news that we’ve re-energized our Thanks a Million fundraising program…all in an effort to help your organization raise even more funds! Bashas’ Shop & Give, formerly our “Thanks a Million” Program, begins Sept. 1, 2008. With Bashas’ Shop & Give, customers can shop for groceries as usual, and Bashas’ will give 1% of their shopping dollars to the local school, church or nonprofit of their choice. How the program works: Each participating school, church or nonprofit is assigned a 5-digit group identification number. When Bashas' customers link the group ID number to their Thank You Card during the program dates, a portion of every Thank You Card purchase is set aside for that group. After March 31, Bashas' will donate 1% of the total sales linked to each group's ID number. *NEW! Participating groups can now earn up to a $5,000 donation! Active charities must earn a minimum donation of $25 to receive a check. Everyone, even if they participated last year, must link their group ID number to their Bashas’ Thank You Card beginning Sept. 1, or their purchases won’t count toward their group.
