Candy Overload!

Did you and your family trick-or-treat over the weekend? Or perhaps you stocked up on candy and have a ton leftover. Whatever the case may be, if you have too much candy in the house we can help you revamp it so you don’t get sick of it!

  1. Kid inspiration! Candy is a great tool for teaching kids math and practicing their counting. Even better, they can eat it when they’re done!
  2. Freeze it! Candy will save nicely in the freezer and you can add it to milkshakes, ice cream, cookies, cakes, etc. at any time.
  3. Mix it up with peanuts, pretzels, and dried fruit for a homemade trail mix.
  4. Make homemade flavored vodka.
  5. Pair it with your favorite adult beverage. StarChefs.com pairs Halloween candy with adult beverages.
  6. Turn your coffee into a mocha and add a candy bar to your morning cup.
  7. Make an advent calendar for November. Check out Alphamom.com for a creative take on the Christmas advent calendar. The kids will get a kick out it.
  8. Save it for decorating the Gingerbread house.
  9. Buy a colorful piñata from Food City and fill it with the leftover candy for an afternoon of playful fun.
  10. Buy a box of brownie mix and add leftover candy to the mix before baking. Enjoy the chocolate overload!
