Upgrade Your Meal Easily with Homemade Herb Butter

Creating your own upscale butter may seem daunting, but in reality, adding a few ingredients to your basic stick of butter can enhance any meal. Combining some simple ingredients together will change the texture and flavor of your butter. Then pair your luxurious butter with your favorite meal such as steak, fish, mushrooms, pasta – the possibilities are truly endless – for a 5-star quality meal. North Shore Living Herbs created an Herb Butter that pairs spectacularly with steak for a steakhouse approved meal.

Did you know that there are standards of butter? They are categorized as AA, A, and B. Grade AA butter is made from sweet cream, and is the highest grade of butter. To get an AA rating it has to have a sweet flavor and be readily spreadable. Grade A butter is made from fresh cream and has a stronger flavor and coarser texture than grade AA butter. Grade B butter is the lowest grade of butter available and it is typically made from sour cream. A great article on the differences in butter can be found here.
